suzi's finishing aint great but nothing wrong with the engines. I haven't been on the '04 but previous models were so beautifully balanced - this is a more awsome ride than the 1000!! It aint THAT fugly - just my 2 p's worth!!

What do you guys think? I am considering this for my next bike.

Vote you bishes!!!
I had the 'OO/'O1 GSX-R750 for like a year, before my 'O2 R1, and I think it's an awesome bike! :yesnod

However, if you got used to the "torque" and "top-gear-roll-on" on the highway of your 'O2 R1, then you won't be happy with the 750. Pretty different riding style, the 750 is really fast, even faster than an 'O1 R1, but you must stay in the higher rev.

Well, for me, I kind of like the "torque" of a full litre bike. But if I didn't had tried any full litre bikes, I would definitely consider the new 750 again. I saw it in person the other day, the Yellow is :boobies

If you're thinking about the R6, then this 750 is the way to go, this new 750 will kill the R6 in every aspect, except maybe the look... :D

I was a die hard Suzuki fan until this year. My g/f is now riding my '00 gixxer 750 and I am on the "one".

The "one" is in my garage at the moment (mods), so I took out my old 750 yesterday. The 750 is a great ride. Like others have said, you have to run high on the revs to have fun with the bike.

Me personally, I do not like the new gixxer design. I never liked the over/under headlights. Yellow/black is my favorite...

It comes down to what do you like the best and what feels comfortable to you. Others have said it before.... It is more the rider, not the bike, that crosses the finish line first. I know many guys that I could take with my old Katana 600 :riding

I saw one right after my brother purchased his 'Busa a few weeks ago, and I think they are nice! From what I hear, they have just about the same power as the first gen R1's.

These bikes are getting crazy........:rock

Consider the gix 750 as a really fast 600, that would be the best way to describe it. There is no replacement for displacement as the busa owners would argue.... But, she is an astounding 750 and I am sure that would be a lot of fun... All in all, I would still got litre first with the R-1... And did......... ;)

Except for straight line performance, a 750 is much better for street riding. I doubt there is a rider here who could max out the potential of a new 1000, even on the track. I read reports from two professional racers who were intimidated by the new 1000's. I know my limits.
