Anyone have any opinions on the different frame sliders for the 2004 R1? I am looking at Graves, Intuitive and Vortex so far. I am looking for a long "street" slider that will protect my fairings if I have a mishap. Also, which sliders require modifications, if any? Please provide pics if you have them mounted on your bike.

Even though I had Intuitives on my 02, I got the Graves sliders for my 04. I was going to get Intuitive's, but the Graves frame sliders don't require any cutting of the fairing.

If you REALLY want protection, Freestyle Ingenuity sells an engine protection cage, extended sliders and a 12 o'clock bar.
