09R1 throttle blipping

R1 2007-2008 electrical problem
General Motorcycle Discussionsi have a strange problem with my R1. It stalls sometimes under stress and it doesn't seem to bee a mechanical problem, but an electrical instead. Yamaha's electrician told me that he is 99% sure it is corrosion on a "grounding portal" behind the speedo. I teared down and i only found this...- 0

06 R1 Rough idle After Starting
General Motorcycle DiscussionsDidn't start the bike for 2 weeks, it's 30 degrees F. The bike had a small amount of smoke that appeared to come from the gas tank and idled like a cammed muscle car for a second then after warming up is fine. I started it again a few hours later and it sounds fine. Is that normal?- 0
