Has anyone seen the 2008 cbr1000. OMG that thing is ugly as ****. Looks like one of those old school 2 stroke race bikes b/c of the bubble like front if you ask me and wow did they really design as shitty exhaust. I obviously thought it was ugly so i figured i'd ask and see what the majority of you guys think?

i dont think its all that bad...my only major complain is the side fairings. the long "duct" down the side really kills the lines of the bike and makes it look short

The short look is starting to grow on me... it's the exhaust that gets me. I'm sure that can be easily fixed by throwin' $1,500.00 in the form of a full system at it though.

After being on the 600rr for 3 years and 40ooo miles and being in love with Honda sportbikes I was going to order a 2008 1000rr this year.
Then Honda made such a stupid big deal by publishing pictures and taking them off their site again so I finally ended up buying a 2006 R1 LE (SP).
After seeing the bike I don?t regret at all!! Still looking forward to the tests and see how it performs.

I think its ugly as sin!! Seen it up close at Biketoberfest and didn't like it one bit. The fairings, the exhaust (YUCK), the tail and taillight (YUCK), the headlights. It seems to me as if some of the styling cues were taken directly from other motorcycle companies. However I bet it handles really well...Honda always pulls that off

its weird looking, the exhaust is the worst ive seen. When i first saw it i thought it was fugly as sin, but after seeing the black in person it just looks kinda weird.:dunno

Looks like there will be lots of weight to be lost by binning that stock exhaust.

Myself, I could really care less how a bike looks.

Give me the lightest, most powerful, best-handling machine available.
