I have a 2013 with 20k miles, K&n air filter, graves y pipe, gytr slip-ons with a flash from FlashTune. If you read my other thread... I was able to acquire a new ECU :chair: NO MORE ERROR CODES!!. I have all but determined the flashtune map is not causing the dying because It seems to be gradually getting worse. I have kept up with my "major" 4k services and oil changes. I just had Malcom smith preform my 20k service, so that SHOULD be good.

When I am coming to a stop, or otherwise hold the rpms steady. When I release the throttle, the RMP drops below 1k and dies, even in neutral. I did read a post in the almost infinite flashtune thread that describes my exact issue but have been unable to find it or the solution again... Doh'. It seems to happen more when the bike is cold. Bike rolls freely when clutch is pulled in when in gear, don't think that's out of adjustment.

I worked with Tad158 (thanks again) and he provided a lot of help but all the different idle maps etc haven't solved the dying issue. (But did gain more power :deal2:) Ive read about different year/manufacture having the same issue and solved it by cleaning the air filter and changing spark plugs, does that make sense? Any other ideas?

Cheers

UPDATE: cleaning the air filter has solved most of the dying at start up, but still dying after I drop RPMs. I'm now thinking the plugs may be fouled? Is the answer so obvious that I'm missing it? Is there anything else I should try before changing the plugs?
