Absolutely it has a low growl/grumble. I had it on my R6 (switched from a Yosh pipe) and I will never go back. Sounds amazing on the R1, especially when getting under load.
I am going with the Toce on my bike mostly because they are the sexiest exhaust I have seen on the R1 IMO. But also because I really like the "muscle car" sound that you get from them.
