First day on track (Mugello, Italy)
I used power 2, tcs 2, scs 1, lif 1, qs 1.
Quite happy with first day impression.

I'm riding with all the aids maxed out for a while until I get used to it at least. Then I may start taking them down a notch at a time.

I started off in mode 3 then set it to 2. Noticed mode 2 at lower rpms/ slower speed the bike isn't as smooth but no big deal, it's mainly parking lot situation.

Your in power 4? I tried it once in the rain holy crap it's like a moped in 4 no power at all! immediately went back to 1.

Hahaha! Yeah, it's slow mode. I haven't had a chance to ride more than the 12 miles on the odometer so hopefully I can put some miles on it this weekend.

Dang only 12 miles I got 400 on mine now. Get riding! Lol. Yeah the book says a-1 is for track. I like all the electronic aids but I don't like dumbing down the power. I just feel if I wanted a 600 I would have bought one so I keep it in a-1 or 2.

Congrats on the bike. Recommend using some of the rider aids at a higher level for a bit. Not sure where you live but cold tires suck. Sand and salt suck bad so keep your eyes out for that. A motorcycle safety course isn't a bad idea either. I actually have a great time every time a take a learning course. Congrats and enjoy.

Just out of curiosity. Those that like wheelie control. Have you had a 2012 R1 or later before the 2015. My 2012 woukd not wheelie on higher levels of TC but wasn't exactly wheelie control. Is there a difference? I know there are more settings for wheelie control now. What does that do that a 2012 unit wouldn't do?
