This may be a stupid question but oh well. I got my r1 2015 the other day and noticed that when on low beams the left light is on and the right light is off. Then into high beams the right goes straight to high and the left stays on low. Is this normal?


On my brothers older model r1 both left and right headlights go from low to high beam

No need to worry, it is normal. Many motorcycles use a single side only for the low beam.

have you tried parkers no front lights when parkers on I think thats how I might have drained my battery thought the bike was off because no park lights in front .

lower the high beam to be level with the running light.... you can have both on if you like that look....
