There is a thread about this in the general forum I think. As mentioned, the test is meaningless (at least to me) without the GP-A Pro. I could see a street test without it, but a race track test? Duh....

It comes down to what you need out of your tires. I had the PP's on my R1 when I got it. I thought they were terrible tires, but it is really hard to explain why. They just had an odd feeling when turning, and that is really all I care about. My tires have to give me good feedback and 110% predictability/confidence while turning. Longevity is last on my list of importance because of how little mileage I rack up. So for me the D211 GP-A is the perfect tire.

If I was commuting everyday I would be singing a different tune, but I have never rode for distance, always for fun.
