Hi everyone! Can somebody tell me if the 2015 r1 front forks will work on a 2010 r1? thanks.

Yeah they will fit inside the triple clamps of your 2010. But, you'll have to swap on the 15+ front end at the same time - fender, brakes, and most likely brake discs too, as you won't be able to bolt up your 2010 brake calipers to the 15+ forks, and I'd hazard a guess that the 15+ brake discs at the front are a different diameter to the 09-14.

07-14 Front brake calipers are 6 pot [piston] calipers with 130mm bolt pitch .
15 >>Front calipers [also 04 -06] are 4 pots with 108mm pitch . I believe .

So... does this mean the 15>> callipers are essentially identical to the 04-06?
Edit: I just checked prices on Ebay for 04-06 callipers vs 15+, and the 15+ callipers are cheaper. This is... interesting. Does anyone know if they're comparable in quality?
