so i know im gona look like a fool for saying this but it was my first time replacing the rear tire bymyself and i bent it by mistake would i beable to tap the small disk back in place with a rubber mallet or would it be better to just get a new one

It's a tone ring, if you can get it some semblance of straight it should read fine. I'd bang on it with a hammer or bend it with a wrench or some combination of the two.
