I’ll trade you a factoryblack swinger and some cash for your polishedWas thinking of doing the same. Don't care for the blue wheels or polished swing arm on the R1M. I ended up getting some O.Z wheels. Haven't decided what I'm going to do about the swing arm yet
You happen to know how much lighter are the Oz? Is it noticeable?thanks for the offer. still not sure what/if I'm going to do anything with the swing arm at the moment. It's not my preference but it's not as annoying as the blue wheels are to me. Depending on budget it's probably something I can live with. Out of curiosity what year is the swing arm that you have?
What dont you like about the swing arm?? I personally think it’s sick and really makes the bike. Was thinking of doing the same. Don't care for the blue wheels or polished swing arm on the R1M. I ended up getting some O.Z wheels. Haven't decided what I'm going to do about the swing arm yet
OZ may actually be heavier than the M magnesium wheels. I know when my buddy got forged Marschisni wheels that they were heavier than the cast wheels with the new rotorsYou happen to know how much lighter are the Oz? Is it noticeable?

Just personal preference. I don't like bling so that R1M swing arm doesn't do it for me. Neither do the blue wheels. again just a matter of personal tastes. What dont you like about the swing arm?? I personally think it’s sick and really makes the bike.

actually I think the M is the only mag wheel and reg R1 is cast aluminumI have not weighed them but just by picking them up I can say to me at least the O.Z wheels felt lighter than the stock wheels. Also if I'm not mistaken the magnesium wheels are stock on the standard as well. It's not a M upgrade
I looked on the Yamaha site and the standard R1 has mag as wellactually I think the M is the only mag wheel and reg R1 is cast aluminum
well It looks like I was wrong. When I bought my 17 M I thought that was one of the differences . Thanks for correcting me.I looked on the Yamaha site and the standard R1 has mag as well
Race-Ready Magnesium Wheels
10-spoke cast magnesium wheels significantly lower rotational mass compared to conventional aluminum cast alloy rims, reducing unsprung weight for quick direction changes and responsive handling.
My swinger is from a 15 r1, but it’s in beautiful condition. My bike only has 3k on the clock, and the swinger would come with a fast franks captive rear caliper bracket which is pretty cool.thanks for the offer. still not sure what/if I'm going to do anything with the swing arm at the moment.
