Little late for a reply but here it goes,
I did mine with hardly any actual mechanical experience. One thing I will say is take your time. It is very easy to get to however, TAKE PICTURES!! Use the service manual and it will help you every step of the way. Unfortunately I didnt get one until after I put mine all back together. It's a very easy task though and will actually let you see and understand whats going on between your legs when you ride.
