I realize I may get bashed for my 1st post. I have a (computer illiterate) friend who ordered a '04 r1 due to be picked up by the end of march. he is looking for an exhaust (preferably slip on) that has 4 outlets. does anyone make such an exhaust???

BTW I did research beforehand & tried to point him to Graves, Akata, or Akapovic but he wants 4 outlets :dunno . anyways if any of you guys could point me(him) in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

if any of you care his old bike was a triumph 955i with PC & black widow exh. what made him switch.....riding the rx1 in the winter :yesnod

Haha I'm glad he came to our side! The RX-1 is a bad machine, I should know seeing how I live in Florida, lol. Tell your buddy he is in no such luck, no 4 outlet exhaust for the '04s. I don't know why he would turn down a Graves system :no I think there was a 4 outlet exhaust for 98-99, or 00-01, but not since then. Goodluck with your search! :thumbup

cool - thanks I did try to search (pretty hard) before posting - no wonder why i didn't find any 4 outlets. if any happen to come out please let me know (i will be sure to come back regularly to check)
BTW this forum rocks :rock keep up the good work. I will post pics of the bike when he picks it up & I will be sure to post a dyno (he's got the PC - just waiting for the bike)

blue flame makes the exhaust for the r1's before 02. you can order them in the USA for around 1400 i think. for the 04 bike LASER makes the LASER X-TREME mount which is new. i have been trying to email EVERY POSSIBLE DEALER... no one can get it for me.

awesome exhaust... impossible to get. even SPIEGLER who is a distributor refused to sell me this product. they insisted they can only order bmw exhausts from LASER.

BTW if anyone knows where a USA distributor for LASER is.. im not to picky at this moment.

hey thanks - I did a 'lil researching & blue flame 4 outlet is supposed to be available in a couple of weeks. I think this is the one my friend likes the look of the best (I have yet to see it on a actual '04 r1 tho)

I will be sure to have my friend dyno (stock) and afterwards to see what type of gains there are. (and of course I will post the dyno up on here)
