Dudes - Have to order an exhaust TODAY for my YZF450. I am taking my kids on a CCC ride in a couple weeks and I just found out that they are strictly enforcing noise level requirements. So i am going to order either a Yosh RS-3 slip on or a White Brother E-series slip on. The e-Series seems to come in two versions a regular and an S-bend. My question is two fold, what is the difference between the two versions of the E-series by WB. And which exhaust do you think would be best to get?

Buy a pro-circuit. I used to work at Pro-circuit and Yosh and procircuits are really good and have a better end cap. They have a 4 stroke quiet pipe if that is what you need. I think the decibal rating is under the requirement. good luck

I have a White Brothers E-series with S-bend. I don't know the difference between S-bend and regular, but the S-bend is great. I love the pipe. It's fully tunable and sounds great. I did here that the White Brothers Carbon Pro is the sh!T! Cost quite a bit more though.:thumbup

He beat me to it...FMF Q series
Or you could go with PMB insert USFS approved and the quiet insert brings it below 96db

Do not buy an FMF thay are garbage. They fall apart and they dont back there product. The Q series is the worst pipe you can buy. I have worked in the MX industry for a long time and have heard nothing but negative from fast riders.

Hmmmm............I have used FMF ever since I can remember, I have also used Pro-Circuit. Both have done fine for me and all the races I've run.

Well I bought the White Brothers E-Series S bend. From what I understand the S-bend is the more quiet pipe. I just hope it will get me down to the 94db that the CCC requires. Guess I ll find out in a couple weeks. Thanks guys :thumbup

Good buy, you will like...:thumbup
that looks photoshopped, but if that's real and that's a DRZ400 that you are on, you're the man.
:bow

I can see what looks like a mirror on the bike.

I dont want to call you a liar maybe you just had a bad experience with them, but I have always used FMF and never had one problem there quality is good and there performance is very good also, I do know from experience when Kawasaki was giving away a free Pro Circuit pipe when you bought a new bike, my buddy went through 3 of them, when he would receive them the finish was terrible they were chipped and rusted IMO Pro circuit is on the bottom of the list as far as quality goes.
