You are right, you will not get back what you put into it. However I am selling the bike for less than I bought it for , and I have put a fair amount of money into the bike even though they are only cosmetic changes. So basically no I am not getting what I put into the bike back out.. I think posted price isnt a bad deal when you compare it to what a bone stock 99 might go for (that hasnt been garaged and shows weathering effects) with only 8000 miles on it.
