Adjustable lowering link fitment

im wanting to lower my bike and i want to use the adjustable lowering link for my 2005 r1, ive seen some online but my question is will a 2008 lowering link fit a 2005? is there any difference in the size of the hardware or anything that will not allow it to fit? this is a pic of what im looking for, i specifically one an adjustable one so i can set the height to where i want it not just your typical 1" 2" 3" or 4"

No only 04-06 will fit. Look online they have 1"-3" lowering link for your year. Remember you have to lower the front too.

T-Rex racing may have what you want. Look on eBay also, I got mine through their eBay store for less than their web store.
