To drift a car in a corner, does it have to be rear wheel drive? I don't think that you can drift a front wheel drive car in a corner properly, I mean you can whip the ass end out, but not realy drift right?

Thx

People debate this all the time but basically the answer is yes.

To drift a FWD car basically they yank the ebrake and skid or "Ass drag" the car to look like it is drifting.

Anyone who says they drift their FWD car is full of $hit!

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking. Just like my buddy always says he wants to learn how to drift his 95 Prelude SRV, and I'm like good luck with that. :crash

thx nightshade

When I was stationed in Okinawa I used to go watch the "drifters" in the industrial parks. That was soooooooooooo cool. :rock

I actually got my hatchback sideways...freaked me out, wasnt expecting it at all...the ground was wet, but not soaked, it was misting that day...Does'nt help that the interior is stripped out and there is no weight in the back...
