You're ready for the R1.....but, what's wrong with riding your 750? For regular street riding and commuting, i think you have more than enough bike at your disposal. If you just "want" to have an R1 and you can afford it, then by all means, get the 1! For style and everything else, nothing can beat it. Just my 2 cents.
