The '04 R1s at the road races this last weekend were all using 17/48, and it wasn't enough. One of them said that he was going to try 16/46, but he still wasn't sure that would be enough gear. I'm thinking it would only cost $20 to try 15/45, and then I would know which way to go when I do a 520 conversion.
