Anyone from Lucky 13th going to the East Coast convention at deals gap in June? I was thinking about going and was looking for others to ride down with. Does this look like a nice trip or what:

Is there more detailed info on this trip? I've been down the Blue Ridge a few times and about 6 years ago we went from the top of the BRP and all the way south into the smokies and stayed in Gatlinburg for a few days.

By the looks of your map in the first post it looks like you'll be taking all highways south. Im not too sure about riding a R1 that far as I have no Idea how comfortable it will be for the long haul. I did those other trips on a VFR 750 and a CBR600 which wasnt too bad after doing 400mi days on the backroads.
