Anyone got 04 exhaust lying spare?

I cant take my bike off the road this time of year but want to gut the stock cans, so if anyone has a set of cans surplus to their needs let me know how much u want for them.

i wont be doing it myself, mate does them and he needs 2-3 days turnaround. i dont have the tools to do it myself. and anyway i like to have the option to put it back to stock if need be.

steve... if ya wanna do it during the week then you can just rip the cans of my bike and borrow them... im a weekend rider mainly so that would be cool :thumbup...

only thing is ya gotta promise it will only be 3 days... and ya gotta come pull em off my bike yourself...

I got the boys at MPR to do my exhaust changeover, I think my old ones are still laying around there somewhere..

I'll call Rob tomorrow and ask him..

Do you need the hole thing or just the cans? I will send you the hole thing but I do not have the e valve in it. You would have to pay for shipping. I live in MN.

i just want a bit more noise. i nearly bought some microns last week for $350 but they were already gone (surprise surprise) i cant justify spending $1000 or more to make it louder. but i want to experiment and see if louder pipes make the monash any easier, as so many people dont see me at the moment. plus i dont mind the look of the stock ones.

Chris, if u wanna sell it let me knwo how much?

ive done the mod just recently, and it is reversible

just make sure you ask your man to return the original baffles to you

once youve drilled out the spot welds, reversing the job to pass the pits would only take 30 minutes

with regards to your traffic safety concerns...
i am using MCS race baffles which are 3mm perforations about 12mm apart ie: < 10% open surface area

i know a guy with an 05 who has a nice set of yoshi slip ons and the general consensus is my system is about 10dB louder ie: 10x

the end result is when i am in traffic i can see people in cars looking around trying to get away from me, there is no tailgating :thumbup

much more obnoxious = much safer

Sorry man.. Went into mpr today and Tim told me he remembered me riding off with them in my backpack.. It would seem like something I would surely remember, but regardless the original exhausts are no longer there..

Wish I could help ya more mate, will ask if there are _any_ 04 exhausts lying around when I'm back in there on Wed...

i cant imagine what size of backpack you would need for those.

it is an easily reversible mod steve.... when neil did mine he put allen key screws instead of rivets on the end cap, so if i wanna change em over its only a quick job... might be a good idea :fact
