i just got the digi tool indicator (tells you what gear your in) and the wiring table had most bikes including the older R1's , but not the 02. does anyone know if the wiring is the same as the 2001. thanks in advance!!!

NO THE 2001 IS NOT THE SAME AS 02.
IF YOU FOLLOW WIRING INFO IT SAYS THAT THE GREEN WIRE WHICH IS THE SPEED SENSOR GOES TO THE WHITE WIRE ON THE CLOCKS THIS IS WRONG FOR 02 MODEL. THE GREEN WIRE HAS TO GO TO THE SPEED SENSOR PLUG WHICH IS LOCATED UNDER PETROL TANK ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE ITS A WHITE JACK PLUG THE WIRE THAT YOU CONNECT TO IS THE WHITE AND YELLOW ON THIS PLUG ALL OTHER WIRES A PER INSTRUCTIONS.
