That's too bad, you have no idea what you're missing. I firmly believe riding on dirt makes you a much better Road Rider

Just getting into it myself. I bought my son a yz125 off of a coworker. Riding didn’t last long. So now, I’m going to give it a shot. Currently, it’s sitting in my garage with the top end pulled off. Riding dirt is way different. This is my first dirt bike.

Riding dirt is what all racers do. Look at Kenny Roberts , Rossi, Marquez Etc.dirt bike riding is a freedom that all 2 wheelers should experience . It teaches you bike control when there’s no traction or electronics . It also takes a lot of physical /mental strength and endurance which is also why racers train in their off time. An added plus is that there are no speed limits or cops , just you and the terrain.

Hello everyone:

I don't ride dirtbikes but I am thinking of getting into it. My question is I have twin boys 11. They have never ridden dirt bikes. What will be a good bike for them.

thanks

I agree with Torchsport. A air cooled 125cc, large frame bike would be best. If they take to those I would get them 125 cc 2-strokes.
