I have seen a couple of R1's with the extended swingarm. I was thinking of doing a complete custom on an 02, but is it going to be ridable?

Maybe I should buy a wreck and rebuild it.

I have a 93 gsxr750 with an extended swingarm for track only (1/4) mile....handling sucks and I would never want to get it into the twisties....
launches off the line great though......don't have a problem with it coming over on me at all...it's lowered 3 inches and has a 6 inch stretch on the swingarm...
Too bad it needs a paint job and new plastics
