The thing is cool as hell, but what they don't tell you is that for the orange wire, which is the speed pulse. You have to actually run the wire all the way back to a location undernieth the gas tank.

It wasn't a major pain in the ass but it was alot of rewiring and taking the seat and tank off to get to the correct wire and then getting extra wire so it could connect.

Just an FYI.

I've been thinking about getting one. I've seen some in the backs

why didnt you get the plug and play version, its supposed to just plug in line with current connectors?

There isn't one for the 2003 R1 which sucked, they actually sent my the plug in one, but it was for a Gixxer 750, talk about WTF.
