I've been to that track a couple of times to spectate only and have seen my share of crashes in a short period of time. I would never waste my time there. The track is too small.

Looks like the front washed out under heavy braking. Brakes sound new. Could have been the first lap and not warmed up the tires.

Too bad for the Duc though.

Glad the horn works still...tip sensor didnt' seem to work well...

It didn't seem like he was leaned over very far at all, I can only guess he was too hard on the brakes. From what I've heard (since I've never ridden one) the front brakes on the 1098 are EXTREMELY sensitive and powerful and have led to a number of crashes. Tire temperature may have also played a role.
