Hello all, my friend just recently crashed his R6
(wheelie to tankslapper....through a chainlink fence and into a rock quarry at about 130 kmh, ouch! He was LUCKY only broke a finger)
Anyways he finally got all the parts off ebay and we put it back together. Yesterday we took it out for a rat on some backroads......the bike slightly pulls to the right now (get up to about 5th gear let off handlbars)
So likely we are thinking bent frame, and were expecting it to be bent before we took it out.
Other than that the bike still feels awesome, no mechanical/brake/suspension/leaks or any other problems, it still has lots of power etc.
What I am concenrned about is the bike usless now and need a new frame? Is it a write off? Is it a death trap just waiting to cause tank slappers again, will a damper help? Or is this still a useable/rideable machine?
He doesnt know whether to part it out, or get a new frame, or leave be.
Any advice from experienced mechanics/techs, or riders who have owned a bike with similar problem would be appreciated, thanks.
