Spend the money on the right pair. The last time I was out doing some kneedraggin, a kid on a ZX6 lost the front and skidded out of a turn. He slid on his back for a while and his hands were dragging the ground. He was wearing a pair of cheap 40.00 GP look a likes from a popular brand. (mentioned earlier in the previous post) . The pavement ate through those gloves like they were made of cotton candy. Not to say that Joe Rockets high end gloves are shitty , but to save money and still have the "look" the kid opted for the lowest level. I can still wear my teknic gloves even after a crash in them. I also have a second pair uncrashed. Altough the newest pair were discounted ( dealer throwin ), the old crashed pair were onefitty well spent. Both are Speedstars. No compromise on the equipment you only get one pair of hands each go round.
