You've got to be sh*ting me w/ this ques right? Because i see under your avatar it says you have a 04 R1. Did you get it yet? If you did then you already have this exhaust on your bike. Duh! The plastic on the side of the exhaust was removed.

Those heat shields probably exist for more than just passenger protection, but it's your bike.
