We got the call this afternoon....I swear Rhonda was more stoked than I was, she beat me home:lol We called a friend of ours to come with us and drive my truck and kid home....Long story short, the dealer kinda sucked ass, my salesman was cool, the salesmanager was an ill-tempered little troll. The bike is pretty damn nice. It'll stroll Seamless is how I'd describe the power, and the handling requires very little input....It got 119 miles put on it, all after dark, I was mucho paranoid of the kamikaze deer taking us out on our first ride, but all is good despite the full moon I gotta cover the passenger seat with some of that grippy mx seat cover vinyl or something, Rhonda was sliding like a dog on wet linoleum.....it's either that or sew some to the ass of her leathers....Anyway, I'm chuffed with the thing so far, I don't think I'll do a damn thing to it for a while outside of normal maintenance. Totally out of character for me, I can never leave well enough alone, but this bike is different somehow....

congrats man, I'm one of the poor bastards who are still waiting. On the bright side it's just started to melt here in Manitoba. Wet streets, ice, and gravel. Not bike friendly yet.:finger

Thanks guys. Toba, I'm sorry you're still waiting dude. I had gone beyond the frustration point to just resignation to having to wait, but all the cool people here helped ease the suffering:lol I tried calling Yamaha's customer relations line in Cali for the last week and a half just to try to pin them down on a delivery date, and that in itself would've tested Job's patience. If you want the #'s just let me know, and I'll post 'em here. I'll lay money that it won't be long for you now, I think I was among the last few waiting, so they must've shipped a fresh batch of bikes recently....
Hey, can you tell I live on a dirt road? Keeping this thing clean is going to be a losing proposition
