Biking group out of Celbridge, Ireland. Meets every sunday morning without fail. Already have one member from USA. We organise various european and Irish trips throughout the year and there is a presentation of 'Biker of the Year' award at a Christmas Party (person contributing most to the success of the group). One of the lads got a budget helmet cam and filmed a little but often. From those clips we made a video for this years party (Debut). Video shows a trip to IOM and Charity Run (audience included da wimmen and video is aimed at showing what we get up to.......). Bound for a trip in/through/around Arizona next spring.

Watch in 1080p and turn up the volume.

The European Union were trying to introduce regualtions on new motorcycles sold in Europe. Initially it was a proposal that ALL bikes will be ftted with ABS. Other regulations include a system ensuring you can not tamper with the drivetrain whatsoever (no customisation, not even an aftermarket exhaust). There were other bullshit regulations such as not allowing any bike over 9yrs old within the city limits due to emissions. Oh, and realtime GPS logging of speeds combined with roadside checking of the on-board logger. Some assholes in Brussels have very little to occupy themselves. Anyway there were protests at multiple locations all across Ireland and Britain at 1pm on the 25th September. Several more protests took place in Europe, unfortunately not much seems to have been achieved. Motorcyclists are getting marginalised, especially in UK. Bunch of pussies want us all to give up bike riding and take up golf, chess and knitting. No dick that proposes these measures has ever really ridden a motorcycle,..... granted, they may claim to have sat on one whilst the wheels were turning (soul-less stuffed shirts).

BTY the Isleof Man is brilliant. If you were to go there I recommend turning up for the practice week. It is not crowded and there is little traffic so you can get a good ride along the mountain section (10km) which is restricted to one-way and subject to no speed limit. Only your skill level and the size of your balls determines how fast you might ride. Only problem with practice week is that there is no great atmosphere and no nightlife. Race week is very busy and crowded and there is a greater concentration of nutters on the mountain.

Cool vid. :bow Thanks for the insight. A small group of us are saving to make trip from Aus, we'll have to include practice week as well. I want to ride it as much as I want to see it. :thumbup
