The stock master cylinder bore is 14mm;get anything bigger and you"ll have an improvement.

I think the 04 model has 16mm now.

You can buy the aftermarket one right away,or wait for a donor in a couple of months... :lol

Maybe somebody here wont be able to fight the urge of customizing his bike and have one for sale too, because there is much better available.

I have an 19x18 brembo radial pump on my 02' race bike, combined with PF95 pads; the bike has outstanding brakes. As to why I chose 19x18, rather than go larger (i.e. 19x20)? One word: Feedback.

Note: The larger master cylinders do not have brake light provisions, you'll need a hydraulic switch; simple installation.

Thanks!

I agree with VPREATR, the 19x18 is the one to go with, excellent power, nice feedback and feel, not too much abrupt bite. Also as to the pads, either Vesrah RJLs or the PF95s. Again, excellent stopping power and control/feel, but without too much initial bite.

Yes, I started with a 19x20. In fact if you need further confirmation pertaining to the "feedback" or "lack of feel" with a 19x20, contact Graves Motorsport.

IMO, the 19x20 did not provide the feedback required for my particular requirements on the track; your requirements may be different.

Thanks!
