Has anyone seen this happen before? If so, what would be the best way to fix it besides having to replace the frame itself.

That's what I figured. Just wanted to confirm that idea. As for insurance...it's my track bike. Thanks for the response. Trying to get back or there asap before they close a certain track here in Texas.

Would you by any chance know what the main frame is made of. Aluminum or magnesium? I know the subframe is made of magnesium. I just can't figure out the actual frame.
