Bubbles in coolant overflow.

No problems last summer. Went to run the bike in garage for the winter and antifreeze started coming out of overflow bottle and heard bobbles once shut off. Temp was only at 170- 190. Just wanted to get to temp and shut off. I let it get cold the next day removed fairing. Radiator was still full but low on colant in overflow bottle. Started bike up and watched after awhile bubbles were forming again and bottle filled from middle of add mark to full mark to almost coming out. After cooled of back to the same position.

I take it the head gasket is going out.

With that said. Engine was out last year to replace second gear...ect...

I am wondering what you would do?

Bubbles would mean cylinder gases are entering the coolant system to diagnose this do a cylinder leakdown and check the radiator for bubbles or do a pressure check on the system both will do the job

I bought a block tester to check if there was gases in the antifreeze. color is blue and it did not change color. Tried it 3 times and no color change. I am thinking somehow the thermostat might of stuck then free itself. still getting bubbles but not sure.
