I use the bel ray. Like they said just warm up the chain first. But I have never had a problem with fling just give it a few minutes to set up before you ride. It does look white but.... it works great so that is what I have stuck with.

oh yeah and make sure you put it on the side of the chain that makes contact with the sprocket.
