hi ya r1 fans


im hoping i can get a bit of help,as i got a bit of a prob with my 98 r1 ,the chain is catching on the swingarm and making little cut marks and i got no idea how to stop it,i put a new chain and sprocket kit on and i think its just stared doing it from then on,but the guy before i had it i think come of it but the bike is in very good nick and i hope the swingarm not bend,hope someone can help or any ideas im going to try to put a pic of it.p.s sorry pic is not clear.

Have you tried adjusting your chain?

a plastic chain slider is supposed to be their, do u got one?

thanks for ans the email emm i have adjusting but i think it might be to loose as u can push the chain over to the marks on the chain guard,and yes there is a chain slider then i think ,but the rubber bit does not cover wear the marks are(maybe i need a new one of them)!

Is the chain rubbing on top of the swingarm or on the side????
