Hello, i helped my friend paint his rims on his gixxer flat black.
is there a clear coat that will keep the flat look?
i am concerned that when we balance the rims that the flat paint will peel off with the weight. he has to use the sticker weight because he doesnt have the ridge in the center like the yamaha's.
or will the paint and the weight stay on and we shouldn't have to worry about it?

most flat paints have a type of clear in the paint itself. They call it a one stage application. As long as you used a good metal etching primer the paint should stick just as good or better than a clear would.
