has anyone ever got to the end of the adjustment settings on their clutch cable.....24000ks

Maybe you should replace your clutch cable?? Sounds like its gotta be pretty damn stretched if you've reached the end of both adjustments..... Could it be a worn out clutch (no idea here as I have yet to replace a clutch in any of my bikes)??

Curious as to what an expert like Martin has to say...

Just got to the end of adjustment on my 01 FZ1. Opened it up and only the inner friction plates looked really worn - but the whole clutch assembly width was way below specs - it just wore down evenly I guess. I replaced the whole thing and it's great now - back to the other end of the adjustment. So, my guess is your friction plates are worn down - not that your cable is stretching.

You can probably get away with just replacing the first few friction plates and adjusting the thickness of the whole assembly by replacing the outer clutch plate w/ a thicker one.
