i have a 2001 r-1 and i want to ride it but i cant get my clutch to work ......i need help service manual sucks...i can get it stabbed and cover on but i dont have any lever ..no travel ...it is like it is stuck ....i thought i had it 1 time but it seemed to pop out of place.... no line up marks or arrows they were damaged in wreck...shaft is good and so is the arm

CLC, there is supposed to be an alignment mark on the cover and one on the lever. The mark on the cover is at the most outboard point over the shaft. The one on the lever is on the opposite side of the lever. The lever points towards the center of the bike when it is aligned properly. HTH!
