1. KWAK - 306 points
2. G1K - 285 points
3. CBR1000 - 284 points
4. R104 - 283 points

I don't really care for numbers, but i'm a bit disappointet of the dyno results, especially the torque of the new ONE in direct comparison. For those who won't get through the whole test:

R1: 165PS @ 11900rpm - 108NM @ 9900rpm
KWAK: 163PS @ 12100rpm - 103NM @ 10200rpm
CBR: 159PS @ 10600rpm - 114NM @ 8100rpm :scared
G1K: 158PS @ 10600rpm - 114NM @ 9100rpm

The curve of the new CBR looks impressive.

I dont see how you could be dissapointed, the R1 puts out more torque than the kawi. Those 2 bikes are the only ones with the shorter stroke engine and on top of that it puts out more hp than all the bikes. Im stoked to see that it put up what it did.

Yes ! look the dyno curves...

2004 R1 power is more than GSXR1000 and Honda 1000 power over 4000 rpm area....just think that and driving on the track !

Thoes Dyno numbers may not be entirely correct. After all teh new ONE uses Ram Air. So unless they Dynoed it in a wind tunnel Thoes number should be higher and will be if they dyno it in a wind tunnel. Why does everyone forget about Ram Air???

G1K: 155.84hp @ 10600rpm - 84.07lb/ft @ 9100rpm

the test is only for riding on a close circuit. there was no street riding involved. the Kwak wins hands down! It is far ahead of the competition... On the main straight of the course it achieved 10 kph more than the next best...

If I remember correctly last year about this time the new Kawi 600 was all hyped up and there wasn't much positive press about the new R6, but look what happened.......................the R6 kicked some serious ass and took names later in the end, hopefully this will be the case with the R1 as well
