I know this forum can be a breeding place for a lot of rumors but I'm just giving a heads up, it may or may not be true. A friend of mine owns the local Yamaha dealership and he says the cost of most they're bikes will be going up. About $200 on the R1. He doesn't know when this is going to happen but it mainly has to do with the weak US dollar to the currently strong yen. Of course this could be a rumor that was passed to him as well. I'm not buying a new R1 so this is FYI for you guys.
