I bought a Carbon D&D exhaust of ebay last week and after i bought it I did some research on the forums (wrong way round i know). The main points i came across were that they are way too loud, you loose HP with them and they are poorly made. So as you can imagine i was a bit let down. I recieved and installed it on saturday and was surprised to find that the sound was quite tame compared to what im used to, i noticed an increase in power over my previous exhaust and though i cant really judge build quality after a few days the bulid and finish seems very nice.

overall i'm very happy with it, maybe slightly disapointed that it wasn't louder after all i heard but i am a bit of a hooligan.

Yep thats me. I won tickets off the radio for the donnington moto gp last year and had to get them of Rossi and Suzi Perry (bbc sport presenter).

dude, I had a d&d on my 03 and I loved it. It was not abnoxious, just not used on the track. I did not loose any hp, infact I gained 3hp with no map and almost 5 after I put a yosh map on it. If you like it, that is all that matters.

I had a D&D on my yzf600 and loved it... Lots of people dis them for whatever reason, but I think they are a good exhaust for the money...
