Just got off the phone with Mike @ Lake Hill. He told me that there was a 10 day paperwork delay( no reason as to why) but he didn't think it should effect getting their allotment for this month. I am still hoping I'll get mine this month but something tells me April is more likely. just have to keep putting around on the 'ol trusty R6.

Three black Honda Civics with neon underbody kits surrounded the truck loaded with 04s, guy gets out the sunroof, harpooned the front seat of the truck and ziplined into the cab and hijacked the truck. HAHAHA

Seriously-

Went to dealer, sat down with sales manager and said OK my blue R1 was allocated for Feb and it's still not here. I had printed out this thread and took it to him. He gets on the phone and calls Yamaha. Come to find out there IS an 8-10 day delay with paperwork. There is a full shipment of 04s sitting in the warehouse and the MSOs (Manufacturers Statement of Origin) do not match up with the bikes they have. So, every crate is being opened to get serial #s off the bikes to send to Yamaha to match up the MSOs with the bikes. Hurry up and wait!

This is unbelieveable. I am getting the same story from my dealer.
"It was on the system yesterday, now it's not today"
Thanks for the info about the paperwork. I guess I have to wait another 2 weeks for my damn bike.

Did I mention that it's almost 70 degrees today in Salt Lake City, UT?

well, today i went down to the dealer and they are saying now that there is that 10 day delay. I guess that's before they even ship out. So 10 days + 8-12 days for shipping = SUCKS. Yamaha needs to get this straightened out and start overnighting these bikes.
