Dan Moto Jisu Exhaust

I just switched out my factory exhaust on my 2003 R1 with the DM Jisu and while doing it noticed that the mid pipe doesn't exactly fit flush on the exhaust itself so i had to do some minor mods and now the clamp wont even fit. Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so what were some alternate solutions?

Post some pics please. From my experience, DamMoto doesn't have the highest quality control...
