I PUT MY DEVIL ON TWO WEEKS AGO AND I LOVE IT. I BOUGHT IT WITH THE EXPECTATION OF UPGRADING TO THE FULL SYSTEM AS SOON AS IT'S AVAILABLE (ANYBODY GOT A DATE ON THAT?). ANYWAY THE PIPE SEEMS TO BE BACK FIRING MORE THAN I LIKE. ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS PROBLEM AND IF SO WHAT CAN BE DONE TO REMEDY?

Make sure you have a good seal at the silencer, and the mid pipe connections, if you don't, on decel the exhaust will suck air, and cause back firing. On my 2 bros, I used some silicone sealer at the connections. try that

Good Luck!!!

Guys gotta learn to use the SEARCH feature!

Nearly all FI'd bikes are fitted with a clean air injetion feature - basically each cylinder has a small hose running into a 4-to-1 box and a main hose runs off this box into your airbox...meanining a portion of the air in your air box is composed of exhaust gas from each cylinder - it is done this way for EPA reasons and (supposedly) makes no difference in performance (I semi believe this, as alot of tuners have said there is no negative effect on performance) However the result is you become prones to backfires on deceleration.

The easy solution is to plug up the hose between the 4-to-1 and the airbox. You can also remove the entire circuit but I haven't done this - I was waiting for a procedure but all the 'experts' seem to have faded back on this one and no one has offered any advice.

PLug up the hose, backfires will go away...I have a devil too with a PC3- despite having a better map, you will still get a few backfires on decel (between 4000 and 5500) but plugging that hose will alleviate it, however having the PC3 makes a huge difference and gets ride of (probably) 80% of it
