I was reading the "02 R1 Pricing"- topic (or something like that) and read that a 2002 R1 costs about 9200 USD? Is that correct?

That's not including the licenceplates is it? I don't know how things work in the US.

02 R1 retail for 10,299 I think. That does NOT include tax, title or lisence. Sales tax will usually be between 6 and 8 % of sale price, and tag prices are all over the map from state to state, from less than $50 to more than $200.
