i can't speak for them but a guy that i ride with (he rides an r6) swears by them and wears them all the time when he rides. his have some type of extra protection or something in the knees and maybe other areas.
Dragon Jeans are one cheaper then leather and are more comfortable. I have the Kevlar reinforced jobbies. Haven't stress tested them yet, don't wanna either.
