Hi all,
I have a Haupuage PVR PCI video-capture-card which has limited use under Windows XP but should work OK in Win'98.
Can I have a dual-boot set-up (Win98/XP-Home) with a single hard-drive formatted as NTFS.
Would a better option be to buy a couple of hard-disc caddies and a second hard-drive allowing me to swop drives to swop operating systems (before boot-up obviously)?
Duncan.

Yea you can use partition magic or other partioning program to make a seperate partition on the same physical drive and install 98 on it. XP's boot menu will pickup 98 and give you the option to run 98 or XP after you install it. But what I'd do to make things easier is just install Virtual PC which will allow you to install multiple OS's from within XP, and run then at the same time.

Check it out here..

and it's made by connectix..

In all the years I've used Partition Magic, I've never had anything go FUBAR.
Me neither, and i just setup my laptop for dual boot with linux and xp with it.

I use it all the time, works fine
