i stay at the coast but the best dyno in the country is in johannesburg (600km away) and up in some altitude

now i know altitude robs a bike of power so if i were to dyno it there and ride it at the coast is there any difference in terms of power ? would i be getting less power than if i dyno it at the coast ?

tnx ...

higher altitude = thinner air.

Yes the dyno will read less power but more importantly if you are having mapping done your air fuel ratio will be set incorrectly.
You should have a custom map done in conditions most similar to those you will be riding in.
